These camps introduce tennis to young children with fun-filled on-court activities using the QuickStart Format – fitting tennis to kids based on age and physical size. Continuing this year will be the inclusion of cross-training, as we introduce campers to soccer, softball, and other sports that will enhance the individual’s long term athletic development (LTAD) and overall camp experience. Optional Field Trips will also be available to campers.
Tennis for Tots (Age 4 - 6) 8:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. (AM session only)

10 and Under (Age 6 - 10) 8:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. (AM session)

Our Indoor/Outdoor Junior Tennis Camps provide group instruction to youngsters between the ages of 10-17 at all levels of play. Areas of emphasis include Technique, Tactics and Strategy, Fitness, and most of all - FUN. Continuing this year will be the inclusion of cross-training, as we introduce campers to soccer, softball, and other sports that will enhance the individual’s long term athletic development (LTAD) and overall camp experience. Optional Field Trips will also be available to campers.
Full day camps (Age 10-17) 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Full day session)
$385 **($310 for Week 3)
PM 1/2 day camp (Age 8-17) 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (1/2 day late afternoon session)
$175 **($145 for Week 3)
The Summer Junior Tennis Academy follows the USTA Player Development coaching philosophy and concepts that are instrumental in the long-term development of outstanding players. Juniors who apply for the Academy must be actively competing in sanctioned tournament play. Player commitment to excellence, an outstanding work ethic and respect towards fellow students and coaches is expected.
Full day camp (Age 12-17) 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Areas of Emphasis
1. Parameters/Progressions - stroke production, footwork and shot selection/pattern play
2. Strategy and Tactics - classroom sessions addressing problem solving in match situations
3. Mental toughness - addressing the psychological and emotional aspects of the game
4. Conditioning - strength and conditioning by Etcheberry certified professionals
5. Planning and Goals - Short/Mid/Long-term planning of player development
$550 per week for Week 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6
$440 for Week 3 (4 days, no camp on July 4)
Because of the physical nature of these camps, it is strongly advised that players are in excellent physical condition.
