2008 USTA Officials School Schedule
The USTA Officials Committee will offer Sectional Schools around the country for all USTA Certified officials. If you wish to attend one of these schools, you should contact the individual shown as the site contact as school space may become limited.
The schedule for 2008 USTA Official's Schools is now available. Check back to this page for updates.
All schools are scheduled for two days.
The Saturday classes are for the experienced officials. The USTA/Sectional, the Referee and the ITA classes will all be held on Saturday.
The Sunday class will be for the less experienced officials (0-5 years).
There may be a Sectional T/E session on Friday evening.
If a school is scheduled for only one day, this is a full-day referee class.
For full school details and information, please check with the contact person listed in the grid below
Umpires with a National or Professional certification need not attend a 2008 school (unless they wish to be certified as a USTA or below chair umpire, referee or line umpire). You must attend the Saturday morning session and whatever school applies on Saturday afternoon. All National and Professional umpires must attend the Saturday morning class and the ITA class on Saturday afternoon for ITA certification for 2008.
In 2008, there will be no tests given during the classes. All tests must be downloaded from this website, taken at home and the answer sheet brought to class. If you do not bring the completed answer sheet to class, you will NOT receive credit for the class. These tests are available on the USTA web site. They are open book using the 2007 FAC. By taking the test at home, we can cut down on the time spent in class. TAKING THE ONLINE TEST IS REQUIRED.

If you have any questions regarding school requirements, please contact your sectional chairperson or Bruce Avery, so that you can fulfill the needed requirements in a timely fashion. If you are unable to open or download the test, please contact your sectional chairperson to obtain a hard copy of the exam.
