Weekly conference calls with the Committee chair, Vice-chair, National League Administrator, and Director of Competitive Play.
Frequent discussion, review and exchange of information is necessary.
Significance:
Regular review provides opportunities for up dating in a timely manner and continuous improvement.
Benefits:
Strengths, weaknesses, successes are noted early and adjustments made accordingly.
Procedure:
Agree on time of call, “set up” call, set agenda, distribute minutes.
People Involved:
Chair, Vice-chair, League Administrator, Director of Competitive Play.
Timing:
Very little time involved in decision to implement calls—parties involved discussed and made decision.
Cost:
Telephone expense at $ .24 per minute x number on call, staff time.
