Timeline for USTA National Committee Appointment Process

August 2012

  • Letters with recommendation information sent to section leadership
  • Section offices given access to Committee Appointment Process (CAP) system
  • Online submission of applications made available at www.usta.com under "About USTA" - "Organization" - "Serving on USTA National Committees"
  • Sections begin discussing their recommendations for national committees
     

September 2012

  • All persons seeking committee appointment (including reappointment) must submit a National Volunteer Application for themselves by September 17, 2012 
  • USTA Board of Directors for the 2013-2014 term nominated
     

October 2012

  • Council Chairs and Committee Chairs appointed
     

November 2012

  • USTA Board of Directors slate for 2013-2014 affirmed
  • Advisory Group on Committees (AGC) meets with USTA President-elect in White Plains to facilitate committee appointments

December 2012

  • USTA President-elect makes final committee appointments
  • Board, sections, chairs and committee members notified of appointments
     

January 2013

  • USTA Leadership Meeting for new Board of Directors, Section Leadership and new Council & Committee Chairs
