How to Get Started

TennisInParksFor over 10 years, NRPA has partnered with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to bring parks and recreation agencies, Tennis in the Parks (TIP). TIP is a strategic initiative designed to help you improve and expand opportunities in communities nationwide, for the public to learn and play the lifelong game of tennis.

What is Tennis in the Parks?

The online registration system allows every park and recreation agency to officially register and be recognized by the United States Tennis Association and National Recreation and Park Association.

Facility Resources

The USTA has expanded facility services from offering grants to renovate and upgrade existing facilities to also include assessing, developing, designing and planning facilities. Of note, there are no longer two application deadlines per year as in past years.
