After-school spaces are critical to both the physical and educational development of our youth.  They also provide a safe haven for kids when many parents are still at work.  

 

The USTA is providing major cities and small communities with dynamic after-school programs that successfully merge tennis and education through our National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network.

USTA Jr. Team Tennis connects kids together in teams to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other teams within a league. It promotes social skills and important values by fostering a spirit of cooperation and unity, as well as self-growth. It’s a fun environment for kids in which they learn that succeeding is really more about how they play the game – win or lose.
