Our college tennis programs provide some of the most accessible, competitive tennis in the United States. There are nearly 2,000 college and junior college varsity teams throughout the country.

Hear from tennis legend Billie Jean King & current stars John Isner, Bob Bryan & Mike Bryan about how playing in college shaped them for success, both on & off the court

Our varsity collegiate webpage has been designed to provide you with an overview of varsity college tennis, the recruiting process, links to numerous college tennis resources and updates from the department on Junior and Collegiate Competition.

Painting permanent 36' and 60' tennis lines for 10 and Under Tennis at your campus facility is the next step in creating permanency and changing the face of Kids Tennis in America. The USTA wants to partner with your college or university to help you accomplish this common goal, and grow youth tennis to its fullest.

The USTA now requires that all 8 and Under sanctioned tournament play and USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) must take place on 36 foot courts beginning January 1, 2010. All 10 and Under sanctioned tournament play and USTA Junior Team Tennis must take place on 60 foot courts beginning January 2012.

In partnership with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, the USTA has pledged funding to be awarded on a “first come, first served” basis as approved by the USTA to colleges and universities across the country to assist with the painting of 36' and 60' tennis lines on existing courts in good condition. Campus Kids' Days & QuickStart

NJTL_16

Campus Kids' Days are designed to expose more junior players (and their parents and coaches) to college matches, while helping increase attendance across the country.

In addition to Kids' Day events, universities across the country are also lining up to hold 10 and Under Tennis training events & festivals through Campus QuickStart. By doing this, college coaches & players are preparing the next generation of U.S. players, while learning new and inventive methods to learning & teaching the game.
