In the wake of the devastation left behind by Hurricane Sandy, hundreds of thousands of people in the Northeast are without basic necessities and are in need of help. New York, New Jersey and Connecticut were particularly hard-hit by the storm. The staff of the USTA, based in White Plains, N.Y., and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, located in the borough of Queens, have been working to help gather and donate some of these necessities, including water, warm clothing, blankets, toiletries and other personal items to our neighbors in need. If you’d like to lend a hand, there are several ways in which you can help.
