A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center on November 9, 2011. The courts were initially part of the White House Lawn Series. When looking for a new home for the courts, the VA Medical Center was the perfect choice. Tennis clinics are held regularly for wounded soldiers as a means of recreation and therapy.
