Participants will learn to: 1. Identify the role of fundraising to their organization – why it’s so critical to success. 2. List the factors that contribute to successful fundraising. 3. Identify the elements of the fundraising pyramid - explore the various methods used to raise funds – and the role each plays in an overall fundraising plan. 4. Identify the first steps to take in developing a fundraising plan.

Remember the military board game Stratego? Just as Stratego requires strategic thinking to win, your volunteer program needs vision, innovation and leadership to serve your stakeholders, volunteers and constituents. Come learn how to strategically mobilize your volunteers for a win-win outcome.
We'll use the concepts of Stratego to create a concrete action plan you can apply to your volunteer program. Key takeaways will include:
1) Establishing a vision for the volunteer program
2) Defining positive aspects of your volunteer program
3) Assessing areas of weakness
4) Energizing volunteers
