October 2007 USTA Tennis Volunteer of the Month
Tim Allen of Clewiston, Florida
In south central Florida, Hendry County was without a local community tennis association (CTA) until Tim Allen stepped up. Tim, who only started playing tennis himself a few years ago, not only founded a CTA to provide local kids and adults with tennis instruction, but immersed himself in the tennis volunteer world, becoming involved locally, in Florida and at the national level.
“Tim Allen is a great addition to our USTA Florida volunteer workforce,” said Donn Davis, USTA Florida’s President-elect. MORE >>

As a volunteer-based organization, the United States Tennis Association has a long history of community involvement. Working together, USTA volunteers and staff promote and develop the game of tennis in the United States. With that in mind, improving the experience for all USTA volunteers is a top priority.
This page includes several resources for those who work with volunteers at the community, district, section, or national level of the USTA. Please explore and use any of the pages for your own organization.
