July National Open Entry Opening Date Delayed
The entry opening date for the July National Opens has been delayed one week to Friday, May 5, 2006. This minor delay will allow the new National Open Selection Process to be fully implemented. Wild Cards for 2006 USTA National Championships and 2006 Easter Bowl BG 18 ITF Championships

New Selection Procedures for Regional Tournaments

Seeding of Tournaments on the National Junior Tournament Schedule
To ensure consistency in seeding, beginning Jan. 1, 2005, all USTA National Championships, USTA National Opens, USTA Interscholastics and Regional Tournaments on the National Junior Tournament Schedule will be seeded by the Director of USA Tennis Junior Competition, or his designee, after consulting with the Tournament Committee.
