Effective Beginning with the 2005 USTA National Clay Court Championships

The following changes to the composition of the National Championship Selection Lists (NCSL) in all divisions will take effect beginning with the USTA National Clay Court Championships:
Boys’ and Girls’ 18 Divisions: The NCSL will consist of players who are age eligible for the next USTA National Championship as follows:
- 16 players who have played in the singles draw of at least one National Ranking Tournament in the 18s division during the four months before the effective date of the NCSL and two other National Ranking Tournaments in the 18s division. The 16 players will be listed in order of their standing as of the effective date of the NCSL;
- players not previously listed who have an ATP singles ranking of 1000 or better or who have a WTA singles ranking of 600 or better as of the effective date of the NCSL - players will be listed in order of their ATP or WTA ranking; and
- players not previously listed who have an ITF singles ranking of 100 or better as of the effective date of the NCSL - players will be listed in order of their ITF ranking.
The following numbers of players will be selected into the USTA National Championships in the 18 divisions:
Draws of 128 - 32 players
Draws of 192 - 40 players
Boys’ and Girls’ 16, 14, and 12 Divisions: The NCSL will consist of players who are age eligible for the next USTA National Championship as follows:
- Players who have played in the singles draw of at least one National Ranking Tournament in the division of the NCSL during the four months before the effective date of the NCSL and two other National Ranking Tournaments in the division of the NCSL. The players will be listed in order of their standing as of the effective date of the NCSL;
The following numbers of players will be selected into the USTA National Championships in the 16, 14, and 12 divisions:
Draws of 128 - 16 players
Draws of 192 - 24 players
