2004 USA Team Tennis West Regional ChampionshipsThis year's event included the top 12 teams from Oregon, Hawaii, Arizona, Washington, and New Mexico. The teams, representing various clubs and organizations, finished at the top of their respective divisions at the USA Team Tennis (Youth) Section Championships before advancing to the 2004 USA Team Tennis (Youth) West Regional Championships.
Once again, the El Paso Youth Tennis Center was site host to the championships and the wonderful weather. In the 18 & under, intermediate division, the Blazing Rams (USTA Southwest) captured the championship with a two game margin of victory over TCC Titans (USTA Soutwest).

The 14 & under, intermediate division came down to the very end of the championships. Kilauea Force (USTA Hawaii Pacific) defeated The Ahwatukee Heat Strokes (USTA Southwest) by only 1 game after the entire round round format was complete.

The USTA Sportsmanship Award is voted on by coaches in each of the age divisions in which one girl and one boy wins. Max King (IHOT) and Alyssa Cudmore (Flaming Wombats) won for the 18 & under division, while David Perrin (Bay Area Barracudas) and Alyssa Tran (Bob's Mob B) won for the 14 & under division. Congratulations to all!
