Holly Chaplin, Beverly, Mass., was severely injured 5 years ago in a head on collision. She sustained multiple fractures to both legs, feet, knees and a broken arm. She was air lifted from Miami, Fla. to Boston, Mass. In two weeks she had ten operations. Using plates, screws and pins to stabilized the injured areas. The doctors goal was the even her legs and enable her to walk with a cane. Holly never accepted this prognosis and gradually she worked her way back to her active life and August 2007 her 8.0 Super Senior team won the New England Section Championship. This weekend she is competitng in the National Championships.
