USTA Strategic Plan
The USTA Strategic Planning Committee develops the USTA Strategic Plan with input from every level of the USTA family of Partners, staff and volunteers for approval by the USTA Board of Directors.
The Strategic Plan articulates the vision and the mission of the USTA, and identifies the core values, goals and strategic priorities of the Association. These elements determine the direction and shapes the actions and thinking of every activity within the USTA. The goals and strategic priorities guide decision-making and are a commitment to achieving the mission statement.
The USTA Strategic Plan includes the following elements: situation analysis; objectives; critical issues, and strategies for accomplishing the priorities.
The function of the USTA Strategic Plan is to provide continuity of direction and purpose over an extended period of time. The Plan serves as a template to the Sections, States/Districts and CTA’s in the development of their strategic plans. Alignment and consistency from the National to the Sections provides a positive and synergistic benefit to all levels of the Association.
