Here are some of the well-wishes to the team:

Congratulations on a hard earned "away" victory, Team U.S.A. Well done. Best regards in all of your preparations for a Davis Cup Final at home in December.

Good luck to you guys as you battle to bring back the Davis Cup to the U.S.A.! I have been following your matches for several years and love watching the spirit that is exhibited by each of you. Thanks for the fun memories that I have of my travels with the Davis Cup. Spain, Russia and Sweden are among the best. Enjoy the experience and bring home the Davis Cup!!!!

Dear Team U.S.A.,
Just wanted to write to wish you the very best of luck in the upcoming Davis Cup finals. My friends and I play at Salem Tennis and Swim Club here in Oregon. Many of us will be there to root for you. And believe me, based on the number of responses I received to my offer of Sunday tickets, there are many, many others who cannot be there but will be watching on TV. Go Team U.S.A.!!!
Cindy Tichinin

Hi guys!
I just wanted to wish you the best of luck in the Davis Cup Final! I wish I could get it on TV at least but no luck here on Long Island in NY. Do your thing and know that you've got mega-support from everyone I'm sure, but especially from one young lady in Locust Valley, New York - a HUGE FAN!
Eloise Halpern

Andy, James, Mike and Bobby,
We wish you the best of luck against Russia. The Gator Tennis Team will be cheering “loudly” from Texas. We wish we could be there with you in person just like the U.S. Men’s Clay Courts in Houston but, our principal says no overnight field trips. So, we will have to cheer long distance… GO U.S.A.!
Good Luck Coach McEnroe!

I just want to wish the team all the luck in the world. I want to especially wish Andy all the best on his matches. I am a big fan of his and watch all his matches and I know he and the team can win the Davis Cup for the U.S. Good luck Andy and to the entire team. I’ll be watching.

Huntington Beach, California, sends you good luck against Russia.

Hey Andy, James, Bob, Mike, and Patrick!
First let me start by congratulating you on such a fantastic year in Davis Cup. You all did such a great job, especially getting over the hurdle of winning an away tie on clay against the Czech Republic and in Winston-Salem when you won the first 3 matches! You guys really gave the home crowd something to cheer about! I was there in Winston-Salem for my first in-person Davis Cup tie, and it was the most awesome thing I’ve ever gotten to do. Seeing your passion for representing your country as professional athletes was great to see. The entire country should be very proud to have guys like you to represent us! I can't wait to see you all in Portland, for my second Davis Cup experience! I wish you all the best of luck in your attempt to bring the Davis Cup back home to the U.S.!
Best Regards,
Monica Fritsch

Good luck guys. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was to see Portland the chosen city. If it would have been anywhere but the other side of the country I was going to make this happen. When you played in Delray Beach it was the greatest tennis weekend ever. I have been a huge fan and follower of all the ‘boys’ every since. (Glad to see Mardy get back into the game!) I hope Portland knows how lucky it is. Now, I can only wish that one of the major networks decides to carry it.
I so admire these young men for making this a priority, you may hear me yelling from Wellington, Florida!
Go U.S.A.,
Dalinda Barry

You all did a great job!! I am so proud. I saw you guys play in Winston-Salem and hope to see you again in Nov. Again, congratulations and let’s do it again one more time!!
Love you all,
Doris

I have been telling everybody at my tennis club who would listen that this is the year for the U.S.A. team to win Davis Cup. I was sure it would be in the U.S.A. somewhere, and vowed to be there no matter how far away. Today, I woke up to find that you have made an absolute dream come true for me. PORTLAND, OREGON, my home town for 20 years, and now I am just 3 hours away. I have already booked rooms, and am getting the best darn tickets no matter the cost. I can't wait. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I will be the little old lady screaming from the sidelines the loudest.

Awesome job in Sweden! Good luck in the final! Love you all! Hope to see you in a theater near me soon!
Marilyn Kreps

Thank you for your efforts to represent the U.S.A...may you ALL have good health and be at your best for the Davis Cup Final.

Hey U.S.A. Team,
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! You guys are the greatest. I saw you plan Spain in Winston-Salem, and it was a very special time for me. You are what playing for your country is all about. You are all Class 1 players. Thank you for playing for the U.S.A.
Love ya all...
Linda Renegar

Congratulations to Patrick McEnroe, Bryan Brothers, James Blake and Andy Roddick on a great win to take the United States to the DAVIS CUP final.
I have always told my children and USTA teams that you must "Will the Win". If you do this, you will find the right combination and heart to win.
Wishing you the best of luck...play your best and "WILL THE WIN"!.
Terry Slor

My wife Sue and I are members of the Netheads and are VOCAL and crazy supporters. We are extremely excited about watching your win in December. Good Luck!

Congratulations on your win against Sweden in Davis Cup. I was able to watch most of it on the Tennis Channel or Versus. You all proved you are very hard to beat when you all pull together. I am very proud of the way you represented the U.S. We couldn't ask for anyone more deserving than all of you!
James - Great job and for hanging tough. I have already read your new book and enjoyed every word of it. Keep the confidence up. You are a vital part to the team! You give me hope in my own tennis game! Bryan Brothers - As always a joy to watch you two play doubles. You keep the energy going and I have no doubts that you'll pull out another victory against Russia. I've got to see you both play live at the US Open and at an exhibition at Little Rock, Arkansas with Roddick and Agassi. I'm always entertained by watching you. Thanks for all of your hard work in keeping doubles in the professional level. I'm sure I speak for 80% of the people who wished to see more doubles on TV! Andy - WOW! I'm always amazed at your match toughness in winning the clinching match for the US. Of course I'm a huge fan and try to follow you as much as possible on your website. I was able to see you play live at Memphis this year. I'm sure you guys will have a very successful match against Russia. I know you will represent our country very well.
Good luck to all of you! Patrick, thanks for believing in these guys. You are the best coach and man for the job!
Roxanne Smith (Arkansas fan)

To the entire US Davis Cup team & staff,
Yeah team! Congratulations for conquering talented players, away court advantage, pestilence, unrelenting tennis calendars, jet lag and being unsung heroes. Thank you also for generously giving your time, representing the U.S. of A. so well and being role models for teamwork. If people call you the “Dream Team” it’s for all those reasons. (oh and the tennis was good too)
See you in November for “Cold War, the Sequel” and may the good guys win!
Cyd Raschke

Our family wishes to send not only our congratulations but also our gratitude to the United States Davis Cup team. The dedication of each member to the cause, and the example of each player putting all private interests aside for the sake of the team, have inspired us all. It is refreshing to see "team" mean so much to such great individual players. My children have never wanted to play tennis so much as they have since we got to attend the quarterfinal tie against Spain right here in our backyard, Winston-Salem. We were thrilled to watch you win in Winston-Salem in the spring
Chris, Lisa, Anna, and Isaac Mullen

Congratulations to ALL the Davis Cup Team. We are so very proud of you!
You represent the U.S.A. with such class.
Thank you!

I wanted to congratulate our Davis Cup team on the incredible victory at Sweden. I watched it closely on the VS network and on the Tennis Channel. It makes me so proud to be an American, and I get so patriotic watching the team play. The courage and demeanor of the team is very inspiring. I wish the team luck in the final against Russia. I will try to attend the final - there is nothing quite as wonderful as attending Davis Cup. Again, I am very proud of the team! Congratulations! You deserve to hold your heads high.
