Tennis Innovation Resource Center

What is the Tennis Innovation Committee?

The Tennis Innovation Committee's mission is to collaborate with the other USTA committees and with the greater tennis community to serve as a think tank and laboratory for innovations in scoring, programming and instruction to promote and develop the growth of tennis.

One-Day Formats & Participation Pathways

Nearly every section offers one-day tournaments for great reasons - their ability to: increase play for juniors & adults; provide incremental competitive steps for developing players; offer great value for money; maximize court usage during typical slow times and lastly, they're loads of fun!

The one-days are an essential element in establishing a progressive programming pathway for all ages and levels.  Click here to download formats, compass draw sheets and other resources.

Making 10 and Under Tennis Work

The 10 and Under Tennis play format is taking the country by storm! There are now tournaments, socials and promotional opportunities for players of all ages. Click here for innovations in programs featuring the 10 and Under Tennis play format.
