The USTA/ITA Regional Championships are taking place for NCAA Division I men and women on campuses across the country through October 23 as the teams battle for places in the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships November 8-11 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
The singles finalists and doubles champion from each regional earn berths to the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships. Winners and finalists from the various ITA Regional Championships around the country, plus at-large selections, will make up the singles field of 32 and the 16-team doubles draw in Flushing Meadows.
The USTA/ITA Regional Championships feature some of the top men's and women's players across the country. Over 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete at one of the 87 USTA/ITA Regional Championships held across the country through September and October.
