Looking to master the perfect kick serve? Here are a few steps that will have you on your way.

1. To hit a kick serve, use a Continental grip.

2. A kick serve requires a perfect toss. It must be behind your head, at about 11 o’clock for a right-handed server.

3. To make the ball kick, you have to arch your back and brush up the back of the ball. This up-and-out motion is difficult, but it can be learned quickly.
