After two days of nail-biting competition at the Randolph Tennis Center in Tucson, Arizona, eight teams survived their pool play. The teams advancing all have one thing in common. They all are hoping to be crowned USTA League Presented by Chrysler 3.0 Adult National Champions.
The women’s teams advancing to Sunday’s finals include: teams from Northern California (Redding, Calif.), New England (Winchester, Mass.), Eastern (Buffalo, N.Y.) and Pacific Northwest (Seattle, Wash.). Northern California and New England will battle for a spot in the finals against the winner of Eastern and Pacific Northwest.
The men’s champion will emerge from one of these four teams: Southern (Baton Rouge, La.), Midwest (Indianapolis, Ind.), Mid-Atlantic (Columbia, Md.) and Middle States (Lancaster, Pa.). In Sunday’s semifinals, Southern will play Midwest with the victor advancing to face the winner of the Mid-Atlantic and Middle States battle.
