INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – The semifinals are set at the 2008 USTA League presented by Chrysler 4.0 Senior National Championships at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
Men’s teams representing USTA sections from Northern California, Southern California, Middle States and Southern all captured their respective flights to advance to Sunday’s semifinals.
On Sunday morning, Northern California will play Middle States, while Southern California will face Southern. The winners will advance to the finals.
The Northern California, Southern California and Southern USTA section teams all won their flights with 3-0 records. The Middle States section finished with a 3-1 record and tied for first with the Caribbean men’s team, but advanced to the semifinals as they lost two fewer sets.
Women’s teams representing USTA sections from Eastern, Florida, Southern and Northern California all won their respective flights to advance to Sunday’s semifinals.
On Sunday morning, Eastern will take on Florida while Southern faces Northern California. The winners will advance to the finals.
The Eastern, Florida and Southern USTA section teams all captured their flights with 3-0 records, while Northern California won their flight with a 3-1 record.
All semifinals matches will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.
