USTA Serves- Grants and Scholarships

Take advantage of the scholarship and grant opportunities through USTA Serves, the National Charitable Foundation of the United States Tennis Association.

Each year, USTA Serves awards scholarships to deserving youngsters who have participated in United States Tennis Association (USTA) and/or other organized youth tennis programs.

USTA Serves awards grants to programs that support at-risk youth and people with disabilities through tennis and education programs designed to improve health, build character and strive for academic excellence.

USTA Organization Membership

As a USTA Organization Member, your organization will enjoy a host of benefits, including eligibility for grants, that will put your tennis program in a whole new league. Organization Members play a critical role in reaching new tennis enthusiasts and maintaining the traditions of the sport. Your Organization Membership can help you get connected to the USTA and tennis.

A USTA representative from your Section is available to field questions that you might have about USTA Organization Membership.

USTA Community Tennis Association (CTA)

A Community Tennis Association (CTA) is an organized group of dedicated volunteers and professionals who come together to support community tennis programs. As an association, the group works to coordinate and maintain programs and services and guarantees they are open and accessible to all. These tennis enthusiasts may act as advocates, pro- gram administrators, promoters, or fund-raisers. Fueled by local volunteers, this not-for-profit association exists to promote and develop the game of tennis in the community.  USTA CTA Guide

Tennis in the Parks

Tennis in the Parks is a strategic initiative designed to help you improve and expand opportunities in communities nationwide for the public to learn and play the lifelong game of tennis.

Tennis In the Parks (TIP) and all associated program resources are FREE to eligible agencies that are committed to growing and improving tennis programs and infrastructure in the community.

Is your agency looking for assistance with tennis programming?  Seek advice from a park professional. Now with our newly created network of experienced public tennis practitioners, your agency can receive expert advice and guidance on how to develop tennis programs and facilities.

USTA Military Outreach

The USTA has a firm commitment to military families and service members. The USTA is committed to reach, serve, and support the military with direct services impacting over 100,000 service members and their families. The USTA will achieve these goals through programs like USTA Serves Adopt-A-Unit, participation in Yellow Ribbon and Welcome Home events, Wounded Warrior tennis trainings and programs through Military medical hospitals, and through partnerships with other organizations like the National Recreation Foundation, USO, Freedom Alliance, Blue Star Mothers and more.

Diversity and Inclusion

Diversity and Inclusion is a strategic priority for the USTA and one of our core values. Diversity allows us to touch "All of America" and Inclusion allows "All of America" to touch us.

Diversity is the collective mixture of our human and organizational assets characterized by our similarities and differences.

Inclusion is leveraging the power of diversity in a respectful environment that encourages all to participate and contribute to further the USTA mission.

Our responsibility as the National Governing Body for the sport obligates us to identify and lead in removing barriers to allow us to be inclusive so that tennis reflects all of America.

10 and Under Tennis

Now with the 10 and Under Tennis format, balls bounce lower, don't move as fast through the air and are easier to hit. Racquets are shorter and courts are smaller and easier to cover.  By using this format, the benefits are immediate and within a short time players are rallying, playing, and excited to keep playing.
