Senior International Competition

Senior International provides an opportunity for our nationally ranked senior and super senior tennis players to represent the USA and the USTA annually in ITF World Cup Team Competition.

The 2012 ITF Senior World Team Championships will be held in San Diego, CA, Feb 6-11 and Individuals Feb 12-19.

The 2012 ITF Super-Seniors World Team Championships will be held in Umag, Croatia, Sept 10-15 and Individuals Sept 16-23.

2012 ITF Seniors World Championships Underway

The 32nd ITF Seniors World Team Championships, which is the senior tennis equivalent of the Davis Cup and Fed Cup competitions, take place between February 6-19. 40 American athletes will be among 1,000 players from 35 countries participating at seven venues across San Diego, Calif.

U.S. Medals in Nine of Ten Cups and Wins Seven Cups

The U.S. cornered the market on the gold medals at the 31st ITF Super Senior World Team Championships held October 10-16 at the Ali Bey Club Manavgat Resort in Turkey. The event was held on extremely slow red clay at this seaside resort on the Mediterranean. There were over 500 players present, from age 60 to 80+ competing for 10 Cups.
