Conflict of Interest Policy, Senior International

The USTA has a conflict of interest and disclosure policy that is applicable to all committee members.  Committee members are reminded of their obligation to disclose conflicts on an annual basis.

Committee members who have a conflict as described below, shall not be included in any Committee communication regarding the team for which he or she has a conflict, including emails and phone calls regarding the initial letters, the final (short) list, and must recuse him or herself during the deliberation of the team or teams for which the Committee Member has a conflict.

Conflict:  Any Committee member who is on the initial list of players to receive a letter from the USTA inquiring if he or she is interested in playing on a team shall be deemed to have a conflict regarding that team. Any Committee member who receives a letter after the initial letters have been sent out (due to omission or subsequent results or for any other reason) shall be deemed to have a conflict from that point forward.
