The men’s team from San Juan, Puerto Rico, representing the USTA Caribbean Section, captured the national title at the USTA League 3.5 Adult National Championships held at the Reffkin Tennis Center in Tucson, Ariz.
The women’s tennis team from Mill Creek, Wash., representing the USTA Pacific Northwest Section, captured the national title at the USTA League 3.5 Adult National Championships held at the Reffkin Tennis Center in Tucson, Arizona.
The Southern California men's team lost to a team from San Juan, Puerto Rico, 3-2, in the Championship match. Earlier in the day, the San Juan team defeated a team from Dallas, Texas, 3-2, in the semifinals.
The top four men's teams in order of finish are: Caribbean, Southern California, Texas, and Northern California.
The women's team from Indianapolis lost to a team from Mill Creek, Wash., 3-2, in the Championship match. Earlier in the day, the Mill Creek team defeated a team from Western Hawaii, 3-2, in the semifinals.
The top four women's teams in order of finish are: Pacific Northwest, Midwest, Hawaii, and Northern California.
