Christina McHale will open play for the U.S. Fed Cup team Saturday against Australian Open champion and new world No. 1 Victoria Azarenka of Belarus, as determined in the official draw ceremony for the U.S. vs. Belarus World Group II tie, which is being held Feb. 4-5 in Worcester, Mass.
Serena Williams will follow in the second singles match against Olga Govortsova.
The reverse singles matches will be held on Sunday, with Serena Williams taking on Azarenka first, followed by McHale vs. Govortsova. The doubles match will be the final match of the day and will feature Liezel Huber and Venus Williams against Azarenka andGovortsova.
