PARIS (AP) -- Lukas Dlouhy of the Czech Republic and Leander Paes of India have won the French Open men’s doubles championship, beating Dick Norman of Belgium and Wesley Moodie of South Africa 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
The victory on Saturday at Roland Garros is the first Grand Slam tournament title Dlouhy and Paes have won together. They lost in the 2008 US Open final.
Paes has won four other men’s doubles titles at the majors, but with two other partners. This is Dlouhy’s first Grand Slam championship.
The 38-year-old Norman is the oldest French Open men’s doubles finalist in the Open era, which began in 1968.
