TIBURON, Calif. -- Jack Sock captured the First Republic Bank Tiburon Challenger with a three-set win over Mischa Zverev, 6-1, 1-6, 7-6 (3).

Sock displayed big forehands to offset the crafty volleying exhibited by Zverev. With his excellent court coverage, he showed no signs of the injured ankle sustained in his semifinal match against Steve Johnson.

Zverev reached the final last week in Sacramento and had two match points in the third set before falling to Sock.
