The U.S. Davis Cup team will have a familiar look for its first-round tie against Great Britain in San Diego, with John Isner, Sam Querrey, Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan tabbed to suit up for Captain Jim Courier’s squad.

The 2014 first round will mark the fourth consecutive tie the four men have comprised the U.S. Davis Cup team, and at least three of them have teamed to represent the U.S. in six of the last nine ties.

The best-of-five match series will be played on a temporary clay court in left field at Petco Park in San Diego, Jan. 31 through Feb. 2. To purchase tickets, go to the "Event Information" section on USTA.com's Davis Cup San Diego page.

The No. 13 player in the world, Isner will play No. 1 singles for the U.S.; overall, he is 6-7 in singles in Davis Cup play and boasts wins over Roger Federer and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, both on clay. Querrey is 4-6 in Davis Cup play and is currently ranked No. 51 in the world, though he figures to rise after upsetting No. 23 seed Ernests Gulbis en route to the third round at the Australian Open. The Bryan brothers, one of the most decorated teams in tennis and Davis Cup history, are 20-4 as a team in Davis Cup play.

Reigning Wimbledon champion Andy Murray, veteran James Ward, 19-year-old Kyle Edmund and doubles standout Colin Fleming will compete for Great Britain.

The U.S.-Great Britain rivalry is the oldest in Davis Cup history, dating back to the first competition in 1900. The U.S. holds an 11-7 record against Britain in Davis Cup play, winning the last four ties. Overall, the U.S. is 110-17 all-time in Davis Cup ties played at home, including 17-2 in the state of California.

The best-of-five match series begins Friday, Jan. 31, with two singles matches, featuring each country’s No. 1 player against the other country’s No. 2 player. Saturday’s schedule features the doubles match and the final day of play, on Sunday, features the two “reverse singles” matches, with the No. 1 players squaring off followed by the No. 2 players meeting each other in the final match.

All matches are best-of-five sets until one nation clinches the tie. A revised schedule for Sunday may take place if a team clinches in the third or fourth match.

In addition to the primary squad, Courier named 2013 USTA Boys’ 18s national champion Collin Altamirano and 2013 French Open junior quarterfinalist and former world Top 10 junior Noah Rubin as practice partners.
