Fish, Gasquet win before rain at Rogers Cup

TORONTO (AP) - Mardy Fish and Richard Gasquet won matches Friday before rain disrupted play at the Rogers Cup.

Fish rallied past Juan Monaco 2-6, 6-1, 6-4, and Gasquet advanced with a 6-4, 6-2 upset of fourth-seed Tomas Berdych.

Janko Tipsarevic defeated Marin Cilic 6-2, 6-4, and Novak Djokovic led Sam Querrey 6-4, 4-3 when the rains came.

All singles matches were called off Thursday because of constant drizzle at the Rexall Center in Toronto.
