The 2004 USA Team Tennis National Championships began with a bang this evening under the lights of Randolph Tennis Center in Tucson, Arizona! The 2004 season began with more than 70,000 tennis players participating in USA Team Tennis leagues across the country. After fighting through their local, sectional and regional championships, 29 teams competing this weekend are eager to be crowned the #1 team in the country!
Also on hand this weekend will be the grand-slam champion doubles team of Mike and Bob Bryan. The Bryan Brothers, spokespersons for the USA Team Tennis Program for the past two years, will take part in the festivities both on the stage and the court, making two appearances throughout the weekend, which will be open to the general public. On Sunday night, November 21, the Bryan Brothers Band will perform their music at the Doubletree Hotel. On Monday, November 22, they will take part in an on-court presentation at the Randolph Tennis Center.
