Fifteen-year old CiCi Bellis, of Atherton, Calif., won the USTA Girls’ 18s National Championship Saturday to earn a wild card into the main draw of the US Open. She defeated 16-year-old Tornado Alicia Black, of Boca Raton, Fla., 6-3, 6-1, in the final at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.

Bellis, the No. 2-ranked junior in the world, is the youngest USTA Girls’ 18s national champion since Lindsay Davenport also won it at 15 in 1991. Earlier this year she swept the titles at the Easter Bowl and International Spring Championships.

Black reached the final of the US Open Junior Championships a year ago.

Last year, USTA Girls’ 18s national champion Sachia Vickery advanced to the second round of the US Open, becoming the first USTA Girl's 18s champ to do so since Christina McHale in 2009.

For the Girls’ 16s crown, Kylie McKenzie, of Anthem, Ariz., beat Kayla Day, of Santa Barbara, Calif., 6-1, 6-4, to earn a wild card into the US Open Junior Championships main draw. Miami’s Adriana Reami and Taylor Russo, of Deerfield Beach, Fla., won the Girls’ 16s doubles title.

Caty McNally, the sister of USTA Boys' 16s winner John McNally, swept the Girls’ 14s singles and doubles titles.
