NJTL Gets a New Name, New Image


In celebration of the NJTL 40th anniversary, we are pleased to announce that the National Junior Tennis League has been renamed National Junior Tennis and Learning. The new logo reflects this new name and further supports NJTL’s commitment to youth development, education and tennis.

NJTL Spotlight of the Week


Blake Strode is the NJTL Spotlight of the Week. At age twelve Strode won a trip to NYC to attend AAKD as one of the first winners of the USTA NJTL National Arthur Ashe Essay Contest. Ten years later Strode will return to tell his story to this year's essay contest winners.
 

USTA Diversity hosts a reception to Celebrate 40 Years of NJTL

The USTA hosted a reception at the 2009 US Open to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the NJTL network on Thurs. Sept. 10th in SmashZone at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The reception honored NJTL founders Arthur Ashe, Sherry Snyder, and Charlie Pasarell. Guests attended the Men's Quarters Match.
