University of San Diego sophomore Uros Petronijevic won the 13th annual Audi Napa Valley Tennis Classic on Sunday, Sept. 22, in St. Helena, Calif., earning a wild card into a future USTA Pro Circuit event.

Petronijevic defeated University of Alabama senior Daniil Proskura, 10-8, in the final of the Solinco-USTA Wild Card Shootout to win the first of three events this fall combining juniors and collegians with USTA Pro Circuit wild cards on the line.

Players from Alabama, Boise State, California-Berkeley, Florida State, San Diego, Texas A&M and Stanford and eight select USTA juniors squared off at the Audi Napa Valley Tennis Classic, which began in 2001 and first incorporated juniors in 2010.

Full results from all three days at Napa can be found here.

The USTA will partner with college tennis for two more similar events this fall -- the second annual USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational (boys and girls) hosted by Florida State University, Oct. 24-27, at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., and the second annual USTA Collegiate Invitational (girls), Nov. 1-3, in Portland, Ore.

ESPN3 will live-stream 10 hours of match play from the USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational hosted by Florida State on Sunday, Oct. 27.
