Elizabeth Diaz joined the USTA Player Development staff in November of 2001 at the Player Development headquarters in FL. In 2006, Elizabeth relocated to the National office in White Plains, NY, and was later named Manager of Business Operations for Player Development in 2009. Handling various facets within the Player Development operations, Elizabeth’s main focus lies within the overall financial management, strategic planning and human resources for a full-time staff of 56 and an average part-time staff of 10.
Elizabeth received a Bachelor of Science in Sport Marketing from Xavier University in 2000 and a Master of Science in Sport Administration from St. Thomas University in 2001. Elizabeth began her career in the sport industry with the Scouting and Player Operations Department of the Cincinnati Reds in 1998 and continued there through 1999. When she relocated from Cincinnati to South Florida in 2000 and prior to joining the USTA, Elizabeth worked for Volvo Ocean Race Miami, a host committee for the world’s premier offshore sailing race. Elizabeth resides in Mahwah, NJ with her husband, Alex and their three children, Olivia (3), Luke (1) and Ryan (1).
