Thirty-three-year-old Michael Russell, the men’s all-time leader in USTA Pro Circuit singles titles with 22, ended 2011 ranked No. 99 in the world after reaching the quarterfinals or better at eight Challengers, including the semifinals at four of the those tournaments -- Honolulu, Savannah, Tulsa and Champaign-Urbana.
