Currently the highest-ranked American in the ITF World Junior Rankings, Louisa Chirico also had success while competing on the USTA Pro Circuit in 2013. Among her results, the 17-year-old from Harrison, N.Y., qualified for the main draw at the $25,000 event in Surprise, Ariz., and reached the final. She also won the doubles title at the $50,000 event in Indian Harbour Beach, Fla., and reached the singles quarterfinals and doubles final at the $25,000 tournament in Rancho Mirage, Calif. Chirico scored her first Top-100 win this season, as well, defeating then-No. 90 Mariana Duque-Marino of Colombia at the $50,000 USTA Pro Circuit event in New Braunfels, Texas.
