Host Site Resources
If you are interested in applying to host a workshop, please read this document thoroughly:
When you are ready to apply, fill out the Host Site Application.
- Trainer Outline - this is the outline your trainer will follow during the workshop.
- W-9 Form. You must submit a W-9 form to receive your host site reimbursement after the workshop. See the Host Site Manual for details.
Online Registration is available to your Rec Coach Workship through Active.com.

Details: Participants who visit your page at Active.com can sign up and pay your RCW's participant fee by credit card. You will be notified by email whenever anyone signs up. Every two weeks, you will receive a check from Active.com.
You can still take registrations as you normally would, by phone, in person, etc. Please note: You are NOT REQUIRED to use Active.com for RCW registration.
The cost: Active takes 6.5% +1.00 with a $3 minimum of each registration. What does this mean? For all workshops charging from $1 to $45 per participant - $3 of each sign-up will go to Active.com. You can add an extra $3 to your registration cost to make up the difference if you'd like. It costs you nothing to set up the online registration.
Why do online registration with Active?: Active.com has millions of users and can advertise your events to specific geographical areas. This can increase your event's participation. Participants also appreciate the ease of registering online using a credit card.
How do you start? First go to: http://www.activesportstechnologies.com/products/registration.htm for some introductory information. Then Select GET STARTED at the bottom, then create an account since you are a NEW USER. It will then take you to a page where you can select NEW LISTING at the top. Answer all the prompts.
You will then be back to the page with the menu on the left side with headings such as: General Listing information, Organization information, Customization, Registration Categories and Registration (within the Categories folder). Click through all of these headings and fill out the appropriate information in each. Please view this PDF document if you need more help.
