The Afterschool Alliance


The Afterschool Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of after-school programs and advocating for quality, affordable programs for all children. It is supported by a group of public, private and non-profit organizations that share the Alliance's vision of ensuring that all children have access to after-school programs by 2010.

Charleston County School District (CCSD)


Charleston County School District (CCSD) is the second largest school system in South Carolina representing a unique blend of urban, suburban, and rural schools that span 1,000 square miles of coastal lands. CCSD's programs and schools offer a portfolio of options and are divided into four Learning Communities based on grade level, each headed by an Associate Superintendent.

Cooperative for After School Enrichment (CASE)


CASE is committed to building partnerships, providing resources, leadership and training that support quality after-school programs in Harris County, Texas (Houston area). CASE is moving forward to increase the number of after-school programs and the capacity of existing after-school programs and to improve the quality of after-school programs in Houston/Harris County.

DC Children & Youth Investment Trust Corporation


The DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation is the primary resource for developing partnerships that expand and improve services and opportunities for children and youth in the District of Columbia, especially during their time out of school.

Georgia Afterschool Investment Council (GAIC)


The Georgia Afterschool Tennis and Education program is a partnership between the Georgia Afterschool Investment Council (GAIC) and the United States Tennis Association/National Junior Tennis and Learning (USTA/NJTL) to bring the sport of tennis to local afterschool programs across the state of Georgia.

Let's Move!


Let’s Move! is a comprehensive initiative, launched by the First Lady, dedicated to solving the challenge of childhood obesity within a generation, so that children born today will grow up healthier and able to pursue their dreams. Combining comprehensive strategies with common sense, Let's Move! is about putting children on the path to a healthy future during their earliest months and years. Giving parents helpful information and fostering environments that support healthy choices. Providing healthier foods in our schools. Ensuring that every family has access to healthy, affordable food. And, helping kids become more physically active.

National Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity (NCPPA)


NCPPA: The National Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity's mission is to unite the strengths of public, private and industry efforts into collaborative partnerships that inspire and empower all Americans to lead more physically active lifestyles.

National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA)


NRPA: The Mission of the National Recreation and Park Association is "To advance parks, recreation and environmental conservation efforts that enhance the quality of life for all people." Since 1998, the USTA and NRPA have been strategic partners in promoting both the sport of tennis and increasing the support for and visibility of park and recreation agencies nationwide. There are now over 1,300 agencies recognized as Tennis in the Parks agencies that receive tennis resources to support programming, infrastructure and advocacy efforts.

New Jersey After 3


New Jersey After 3 is a private, nonprofit organization that is dedicated to expanding and improving afterschool opportunities for New Jersey's children. New Jersey After 3 programs expand learning time in public schools by more than 40% each school day across urban, suburban, and rural communities through a specific, evidence-based program model. New Jersey After 3 serves more than 5,000 students in 35 public schools.

The Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA)

The Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) is devoted to working with the private sector to ensure the health of our nation’s youth by solving the childhood obesity crisis. Founded in 2010 in conjunction with – but independent from – Let’s Move!, PHA is a nonpartisan, nonprofit that is led by some of the nation’s most respected health and childhood obesity advocates.

Providence After School Alliance (PASA)


The Providence After School Alliance is a public/private venture that is working to expand and improve the quality of after-school opportunities for the youth of Providence by building a system of after-school supports. This system will provide access for all youth in the city to high-quality, after-school programs and learning opportunities.
