The USTA Teams with "Joining Forces"

2012 Military Outreach / Joining Forces Commitments
10 and under Tennis
In 2012, the USTA will distribute 2,500 free USTA 10 and Under memberships to military children to help provide recreational and therapeutic opportunities for military families across the country.
Adopt-a- Unit
In 2012, the USTA will provide recreational tennis equipment to 100 adopted units impacting approximately 150,000 deployed service members and their families. The USTA will also identify and support 100 communities to send care packages to deployed units.
Wounded Warrior
In 2012, the USTA will continue its existing 6 wounded warrior tennis therapy programs across the country and add programs an 6 additional locations.  The USTA will target the following installations: Fort Carson, CO; Walter Reed; Fort Bragg, NC; Fort Benning, GA; Fort Campbell, KY; Camp Pendleton, CA; Camp LeJeune, NC; and Schofield Barracks, HI.
Pro Tournaments
In 2012, the USTA has pledged to hold military appreciation events at approximately 5 - 7 of the Emirates Airline US Open Series tournaments and during the 2012 US Open.
