Medicine Ball 45 Degree Obliques:
Sit on the ground with your knees bent so that your heels are on the ground in front of you. Lean your torso back (contract your abdominal muscles to assist you) so that your back forms a 45 degrees angle with the ground. Keep your heels on the ground. Grasp a 2-3 kg medicine ball in front of your body with both hands. Hold it with your arms bent at about the level of your stomach. Rotate your torso to the right and tap the ground just slightly behind your right hip with the medicine ball. Follow the medicine ball with your head to get your torso to turn. Return to the starting position and repeat this movement to the left side. Perform 1-2 sets of 10-20 repetitions.
