The USTA Pacific Northwest has a great volunteer opportunity.
Every December the USTA Pacific Northwest hosts “Pacific Cup,” an event for the top Junior Tennis players on the west coast. Pacific Cup brings in the top Boys and Girls from the entire west coast to play together in a fun event at Tualatin Hills Tennis Center. Last years’ event was such an amazing event due to the wonderful host families and volunteers who donated their homes and time to this event hosted by PNW. We need people who are willing to house kids and transport them to and from Tualatin Hills Tennis Center daily for this event.
We need host families to help us with this event. Can you help?
This year’s event will be held December 2nd-4th at Tualatin Hills in Beaverton Oregon. Similar to last year, we need host families that can do the following:
Pick up and drop-off of tournament participants (this is approximately on Friday evening for pickup for Tualatin Hills Tennis Center, Saturday morning drop-off and Saturday evening pick-up, and Sunday morning drop-off)
Host 2+ participants between the ages of 12-18 (male players or female players)
Accommodate beds for participants (each participant should have his/her own bed and no sleeping on the floor ϑ)
Provide breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning
Pass a background check for the head of household (and other family members over the age of 18 who will be residing in the house at the time of Pacific Cup)
Pass a Motor Vehicle check (for anyone who will be driving the participants)

Also, if you know of anyone else who would be interested in hosting these amazing athletes, please let them know.
