
The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the nationally governing body for the sport of tennis. A not-for-profit organization, the USTA administers programs nationwide for players of all ages, backgrounds and ability levels.
Established in 1955, the USTA Middle States Delaware District (DD) is the governing body organization within the state of Delaware. We are dedicated to carrying out the goals of the national association in developing programs and promoting the growth of tennis. The USTA Middle States Section and the Delaware District — with its members and member organizations — work together to carry out this mission.
The USTA Middle States Delaware District is committed to building an inclusive and diverse array of opportunities for all players to enjoy this great sport of a lifetime.


- Delaware Tennis Foundation - provides financial support for programs run by the USTA/Middle States/Delaware District, and other organizations or individuals, which increase active tennis participation in the state and promote the health and wellness benefits of the game
- Delaware Tennis Hall of Fame - recognizes, honors, celebrates and preserves the legacy of those individuals who have advanced the lifelong sport of tennis in Delaware
- Delaware District Council - View Delaware's District Council volunteer members who carry out the mission of USTA MS through local development, delivery and support of tennis programs and players in DE
