Learn more about the online courses available to prepare individuals to become certified officials in the discipline(s) they desire. 

In the USTA Officiating Online Learning Center, you'll find courses and lesson plans for each Officiating discipline, including roving umpire, chair umpire, referee and chief umpire. 

 

Current available courses include:

  • Introduction to Officiating
  • Rules and Regulations 1
  • Rules and Regulations 2
  • Rules and Regulations 3
  • Roving Umpire 1
  • Referee 1

All prospective Officials must complete the Roving Umpire Learning Plan, which includes Introduction to Officiating, Rules and Regulations 1-3, and Level One Roving Umpire courses.
