What is Professional Tennis Management?
If you love tennis, make your passion a career and get a degree in professional tennis management (PTM). Whether your goal is a career as a coach, running a facility or in court maintenance, PTM offers the tools and programs to get you started, including networking, paid internships, job placement and more.
Currently, six colleges offer an undergraduate PTM program – Berry College, Ferris State, Hope College, Manhattanville College, Methodist University and the University of Central Florida.
Tyler Junior College offers a PTM certificate program and two schools, San Diego State and the University of New Mexico, offer graduate PTM programs.
The number of schools offering PTM programs figures to rise in the future with the introduction of new USTA initiatives that will help prepare the next generation of tennis providers, including tennis professionals, coaches and administrators.
