Individual Grants & Scholarships

Wheelchair Player Grant [OPEN]

This grant is designed to target "wheelchair programs and or individuals" that are growing wheelchair tennis in their local areas within the USTA/Midwest Section.

Adaptive Family Grant [CLOSED]

The Adaptive Family Grant is available to families with a child with special needs enrolled in a tennis class or camp. Families must submit a paid receipt for reimbursement. This grant is limited to one grant per family per year.

Junior Camp Scholarship Application [CLOSED]

The objective of the Camp Scholarship Program is to provide youngsters, entering grades 3-8, an opportunity to attend a summer tennis camp by removing the financial barriers associated with a camp. Approved applicants will be placed in a camp within driving distance of their hometown. 

Diversity Grant Individual Player Application [OPEN]

Individual Player Grants are available from the USTA/Midwest Section Diversity & Inclusion Committee to assist those within diverse communities in pursuing their tennis-related interests.  This grant program targets young players (8 to 15 years of age) who are just starting to play competitive tennis and show a great deal of commitment and potential to becoming outstanding players.  

Organizational Grants & Scholarships

Tennis on Campus Pilot Program Grant [OPEN]

Awarded for starting up new or innovative collegiate tennis programs.

Tennis on Campus Start-up Grant [OPEN]

For colleges looking to start a new Tennis Club on campus.

Club Team Tournament Grant [OPEN]

For club teams looking to offset costs associated with hosting/running a large club tournament with 8+ teams.

Tennis After Campus Grant [OPEN]

A grant up to $500 for college club teams hosting a Tennis After Campus Event on their campus.

Tennis Diversity Program Grant [OPEN]

Awarded to help organizations initiate/expand USTA programs, recreational programs, or any program utilizing 10 and Under Tennis that will increase participation within diverse communities.

Community Tennis Association Program Grant [OPEN]

Available for Community Tennis Associations to start new or expand existing USTA membership based programs.

Wheelchair Tennis Program Grant [OPEN]

This grant is designed to target "wheelchair programs and or individuals" that are growing wheelchair tennis in their local areas within the USTA/Midwest Section.

Adaptive Committee Play Day Grant [CLOSED]

Available to organizations hosting a 2-3 hour Tennis Play Day experience for persons with intellectual/physical disabilities and that have registered their Play Day with the Midwest Section. 4 Grants will be available to each of the following States: IL, IN, MI, OH, WI. Final Summary report required.

Adaptive Committee 8-week Adaptive Tennis Session [CLOSED]

Available to CTA’s, Parks and Special Needs Agencies to initiate an 8 week tennis session for persons with intellectual/physical disabilities.
