Do you love sports and interacting with people? Are you friendly, patient, and organized? Being a junior tournament director might be just the job for you! We are always looking to recruit and mentor new tournament directors. If you are interested in hosting a USTA sanctioned tournament in your area, talk to your district about the process of hosting a tournament. Click here for a listing of contacts in your district.
If you host local events, and want to expand your horizons, you might consider hosting a Missouri Valley Section event or a USTA National event. To host a section event, you must have attended the most recent USTA Missouri Valley Tournament Directors Workshop. The USTA Missouri Valley operates on a two year bid cycle where organizations are awarded a tournament for two years.
