Team Registration: $150 + $4 non-refundable processing fee for $154 total. Registration closed August 16.

PRACTICE COURTS

See Court Sites for map and addresses of match sites as well as suggested practice courts.  Practice courts are just suggested options nearby. These are on a first-come, first serve basis and may be closed due to school, construction, or summer.

 

Vancouver Tennis Center

  • You can try to reserve a practice court at Vancouver Tennis Center by calling 360-773-5038 or clicking HERE
  • Reservations can be made 2 days in advance for non-members and 7 days in advance for members.
  • You must create an account when reserving a court for the first time - you will need Club Automation to sign up, so it is preferable to call. 
  • Court fees are based on 90 minutes of play and vary based on peak or non-peak times. 
  • Courts NOT available for practice during match days.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS / AMENITIES

 

Court Site: Vancouver Tennis Center (5300 E 18th St, Vancouver, WA 98661) 

  • Players must sign-in at the front desk upon arrival.
  • Courts not available to USTA on match days for warm-up/set-up, except for the first half hour of the morning.
  • Overflow parking available at Fort Vancouver High School off of E 18th street.
  • Players have access to bathrooms and locker rooms, but must bring own towel for shower or on-court use.
  • Only light snacks will be available for purchase, so plan ahead for food.
  • Be respectful of club facilities and members. No pets please.
  • USTA will provide ice for beverages and small coolers.

Sportsmanship: If you experience a great act of sportsmanship by your opponent(s), please share them with the tournament desk so the player can receive a pin! Best sportsmanship will receive a $100 Tennis Warehouse gift card! See flyer.

 

Social Media Contest: Post a photo of you showing your section pride by representing your section color in fun and creative ways! PNW is gold. Use #ustaleague in the caption, and tag @ustapnw for a chance to win a prize.

 

T-Shirts: Each rostered player will receive a T-shirt.  Sizes from S-2XL for men, and XS-2XL for women. These will be polyester fabric in both men's and women's styles. 

 
Photographer: USTA plans to have a professional photographer taking photos at certain sites and times during the event. In lieu of the Publicity Waiver forms, we will have a media waiver release sign at each court site which states will state that, by entering the court site premises, you agree to be photographed and/or filmed by the non-profit United States Tennis Association Pacific Northwest (USTA PNW) in connection with your participation in this event and that the USTA PNW will own any and all rights in such photography and film of you.
 

Tennis Balls: Penn is the official ball sponsor of USTA League. USTA PNW has agreed to invest funds to use Pro Penn Marathon balls for all 2019 Section Championships.

 

Bananas: USTA PNW will order bananas for each tournament site throughout the weekend

 

Ice: USTA PNW or host facility will supply ice to cool beverages or to keep small coolers chilled (please do not fill large coolers) 

TIPS / REMINDERS FOR PLAYERS AND SPECTATORS
 

Bring Water Container: Players and spectators must bring their own water container. Water will be available for refilling a container, but there may not be any bottles or cups available on site.

Follow Host Site Rules: We are all guests of these facilities. Please pick up all trash and be respectful of management or staff. They also have their own rules in place as to what is acceptable at their facility so please obey any posted rules.
