The 2017 USTA Southwest 55 & Over Adult League Championships will be held September 15-17th in El Paso, Texas.

With more than 200-plus players participating from across all parts of the Section making their way toward the El Paso, this year's tournament promises to be as competitive as ever. USTA Southwest has fared quite well at national events in this particular age division in year’s past.

This 2017 Southwest 55 & Over Championships will be played at familiar venues in the El Paso area, the El Paso Tennis and Swim Club and Tennis West Sports and Racquet Club.

Level winners in each division at this event receive the much sought after automatic USTA Southwest bid into the USTA National League Championship events that are held throughout the fall.
 

HOST PLAYING SITES

Adult teams who have qualified by winning their local leagues, will be competing over three days at two different playing sites in El Paso, including El Paso Tennis & Swim Club and Tennis West.

 

The main host site for this year’s 2017 USTA Southwest 55 & Over Adult League Section Championships will be El Paso Tennis & Swim Club.

 

The 15-court facility, is located at 2510 North Vrain Street, El Paso, TX  79902.

El Paso Tennis & Swim Club has played host to many major USTA Southwest championship events before, including past USTA Southwest League Championships,  Jr. Team Tennis Championships, in addition to several local adult and junior events, including the national Level 2 El Paso Adult Open.  

Our other host venue will be the Tennis West Sports and Racquet Club.

 

The site has been home to several USTA Southwest league championship events in year’s past, and was the annual home of the $25K Hunt USTA Women's Pro Circuit event. It has recently undergone a renovation to several areas of the club.

HOTEL INFO
The County Inn and Suites El Paso has blocked off rooms for tournament players and is offering our participants a room rate of $74.99 per night, plus taxes and fees. Deadline for making reservations is Thursday, September 14. Reservations made after the cut off date may not have the group rate honored, so make your reservations early.  (This is the hotel we used last year for the 55 & Over Championships).
